Control of Whiteflies
Encarsia formosa is a highly effective parasitoid micro-wasp in combating whiteflies. It parasitizes whitefly pupae by inserting its eggs into them. The development of the larvae eventually causes the death of the host, and a mature individual emerges, ready to repeat the cycle. The full performance of Encarsia formosa is achieved in the summer period.
This product is offered in the form of parasitized pupae cards to hang. Each card contains around a hundred eggs.
