Stethorus punctillum is a beetle from the same family as ladybugs. It is a highly mobile predator of two-spotted spider mites, capable of flight and tolerant of higher levels of drought and heat than predatory mites.

Method
For treatment
10 individuals per medium-sized plant or per square meter of plants, every two weeks until eradication.

Instructions
- Place the individuals on the foliage near the infested areas. If not possible, simply place the open container at the base of the infected plant.

Questions
Can I use Stethorus punctillum at home ?
We do not recommend introducing Stethorus punctillum at home. Ladybugs, being flying insects, will be more effective in a greenhouse, a grow tent, or any other enclosed growing environment. A sufficient level of spider mite infestation is generally not reached in a normal household setting.
Can Stethorus punctillum proliferate in my plants ?
Stethorus punctillum require specific environmental conditions and a large quantity of prey to reproduce. Limited and beneficial reproduction may be possible in a greenhouse.
I don't see the Stethorus punctillum I introduced, is this normal ?
Stethorus punctillum are lively and easily visible during introduction. They will be difficult to observe once dispersed.
Are there any risks associated with using Stethorus punctillum ?
Stethorus punctillum do not bite. They normally pose no risk to humans.
