Amblyseius californicus is a predatory mite whose diet primarily consists of two-spotted spider mites. In the absence of its prey, it can temporarily feed on pollen and other small invertebrates. It also preys on tarsonemids and brevipalpus.

These slow-release sachets are recommended for preventing infestations of two-spotted spider mites. They contain predators at all stages of growth to provide prolonged action.

Method

For prevention
One sachet per single medium-sized plant or per square meter of grouped plants, every four weeks.

Instructions

  • Hang the sachets without opening them on the stems of infested plants.

  • Avoid contact with damp soil.

I don't see the Amblyseius californicus I introduced, is this normal ?
Amblyseius californicus are very small and discreet. With patience and very good eyesight, you might be able to see them near the sachets. However, it may take up to a week after installation before you are able to observe them.
Are there any risks associated with using Amblyseius californicus ?
Amblyseius californicus pose no danger to humans or pets. The quantities of mites used at home are usually not sufficient to cause allergies. However, we still recommend washing hands after handling the product.
